Sometimes I wonder what makes people do what they do. Actually I think that’s pretty much how I feel all the time. But I swear my boss was bipolar or OCD or something. One day everything was working all right and the next he came storming through the office talking about inefficiency this, that, and the next thing. And then he started saying we needed to downsize. And then he fired what must have been half out company in the next week.

So most of us have been living off unemployment. Which means he is actually paying part of our salary. Of course this doesn’t help all that much since I was living in a place that I couldn’t afford anymore. My funds ran dry and I simply had no money left by the time my lease ended. And yes, I have been looking for a job.

I needed money to pay a security deposit on a new, smaller apartment, to live in. I searched around online and found car title loans in Oakland, California. It was easy to get money in a car title loan and it came fast. An auto pawn loan in California was exactly what I needed to get money for my security deposit.

Now I can relax. I’ll keep looking for a job, but with this new place I’m moving to, my unemployment check can take care of my lifestyle.
