I thought I could make it with the big dogs. This is how it went. I’ve been wrestling for about 3 years in high school when I decided I wanted to get involved in Ultimate fighting. It wasn’t that big of a decision. I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I would watch them fight and think “I could beat them all”

That’s how I got started but it isn’t that easy. I knew wrestling but I didn’t have any mastery of any striking. I couldn’t hit. I didn’t know how to attack an opponent if he was trying to strike me. I needed more training, just a little more. I searched for places to train and found out they cost a lot

I didn’t have the money to pay for it. I’m too young to have any credit, when I asked my parents for the money they said “no way”. That’s how I found car title loans in Oakland, California. For me an auto title loan was exactly what I needed. It was fast cash from an auto pawn and it was easy for me to get. I got to keep my car too.

Too bad I got a harsh dose of reality recently. I had my first fight and I don’t even know if I can hang with the little dogs.
